Sound alarm about tourists flooding Venice

A message to visitors to Venice: No bare torsos in St. Mark's Square, please. No lounging on the monuments. And no feet dangling in the canals. Henry James observed more than a century ago: "Though there are some disagreeable things in Venice there is nothing so disagreeable as the visitors."
