Puglian equivalent to wine tasting

Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, Kath Freer savours a taste of paradise in as-yet-undiscovered Puglia.

Olive oil is considered as much a delicacy as fine wine here, as this region of Italy is one of the world’s biggest producers of both.

As general manager of hotel Masseria Bosco, Stefano works with the De Padova family who have been olive oil producers for four generations.
